This natural solid black opal from Lightning Ridge Australia has rolling rainbow colours with pinfire! The rolling colours are very bright while the pinfire sets a more subtle backfire sparkle. The stone displays its colours even under lower lighting conditions. The stone also has some gray opal potch inclusions.
Please notice that this stone is thinner than normal and needs a protective setting, such as a bezel setting.
The stone is ready to set to jewellery and it has high polish.
